The MCP spec

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is Anthropic's open spec at modelcontextprotocol.io. Any client implementing the spec can call any spec-compliant server.

Implementation notes

• Streaming HTTP, not SSE — simpler client integration.
• Auth via header (X-Partner-Key), no OAuth dance required for partner endpoints.
• Rate limit: 60 RPM per key, 1 000 RPM for verified partners.
• Idempotent create_intent — retry-safe within 5 minutes.
