What a hotel widget is

A hotel widget is a small embeddable component that lets visitors of your site search hotels, see live availability and pricing, and book — without leaving your domain. Done well, it earns you commission. Done badly, it slows your page and pays nothing.

Customisation

Default colours match a neutral cream/green palette; override every CSS variable via --oss-*. Set a default city, default check-in window, max results, currency. Full options in the README on GitHub.

Performance budget

The widget enforces a strict perf budget: 14 KB JS gz, no synchronous fetches, no layout shift on load. If you find a regression, file an issue on the repo — we treat any LCP/CLS regression as a P0.
